Our prospect program

Our foals are raised in a herd environment to promote social and physical growth. Since conception, foals and broodmares are given carefully balanced nutrition and supplemented to ensure proper growth and development. We believe in minimal handling and at weaning start the professional halter breaking process by following the methods of Buck Brannaman. This gives our foals an exceptional understanding of giving to pressure and how to stay balanced on their own feet. You can rest assured your foal has never been flipped over or pulled back in our program during halter breaking or general handling. Before leaving us, weanlings stand to be haltered, lead nicely, willingly pick up all four feet, respect personal space, and load in the trailer. We do not tie our weanlings but we do teach them to come forward off halter pressure. That being the case, we highly recommend they be hauled loose in the trailer. Please check with your shipper to make sure they can accommodate this type of transportation.
